1:30 – 4:15 p.m., April 14, 2011

Four ready-to-fund companies at seed, early and growth stages from the Roanoke/New River Region will present before a panel of locally focused angel investors, educators, business leaders, researchers and entrepreneurs.  The Open Angel Forum is a live pitch session providing a unique opportunity to see how raising capital is done with real companies and investors.  After each company pitch, the Angels will provide valuable insights into how to polish the business and get funded now – you don't want to miss this!

Companies who would like to be considered for the Open Angel Forum must submit an application to the NCTC Pitch & Polish clinic: by March 1.   Those firms which are selected will go through an intensive 3 session preparation process prior to the Open Angel Forum.  This free service is invaluable to any company starting or continuing their fund raising journey. Three out of four companies which presented last year received outside investment.

Companies interested in being considered for the Open Angel Forum can send questions or their two page executive summary by March 5, 2011, to Bob Summers.
