What You Get
The VT KnowledgeWorks program has been carefully constructed with early-stage investors clearly in mind. Our Founders’ Readiness Retreat and Pre-Launch Services are specifically designed to filter out business concepts that are not market-worthy or technologically sound. And our Enterprise Services includes multiple features calculated to prevent failure by innocence.
Investors who work closely with VT KnowledgeWorks receive early exposure to promising enterprises, with opportunities to participate at all levels of risk and valuation, including
- Pre-seed stage – funding final market validation studies and/or prototype development
- Seed stage – funding launch and first market entry
- Venture stage – funding aggressive product and market development following a successful launch
- Mezzanine stage – funding broad expansion aimed at achieving significant market share
They also have the comfort of knowing that their objectives are directly aligned with those of the VT KnowledgeWorks staff, the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, and the Virginia Tech Foundation. Regardless of your exact interest in VT KnowledgeWorks, start by contacting Jim Flowers.
